I actively dislike the toy-town "filter" based approach to raw development, as if my requirements are the same as those of someone uploading a camera phone picture to snapchat. It was painfully slow to open a file, and developing one effectively brought my PC to a halt to the point where I thought it had crashed until 5-10 minutes later it came back to life. A 100% preview wasn't 100%, and as far as I could tell was an in memory preview that was not always representative of the developed raw file. On the odd occasion it did open a file, it wasn't that impressive. ![]() It gave an error 9 out of 10 times when trying to open a raw file, and would not continue. I tried the Windows Beta version, and it was truly terrible - not Beta, but more like Alpha or barely suitable for use. Non-subsubscription sales model, unlike a certain other suite.can be loaded on 5 mixed PCs/Macs in your home.Seems to be professional, with plugins and presets.I've never used it, but it seems a good enough deal for to me to break my life-time habit and become an early adopter.
